The Alien Behind the Agency

Stories have been a way for me to make sense of the world and what it means to exist as a rational, conscious blob from outer space. I felt disconnected from my environment and found comfort in magical worlds and tales of the undead (Team Bella Should Have Been A Lesbian). I have been writing since I was 12, starting with Wattpad and angst-filled poetry collections that will fortunately never see the light of day. The dream of being an author never escaped the back of my mind, and I spent the past year working towards three novels which are now in various stages of development. There’s still angst, but it’s palatable now.

Beyond editing, I strive to connect with my clients on a human level and help them identify the emotional goals they have for connecting with readers in meaningful ways. Working with me and The Martian Writes is about collaboration not only correction. I know what it is like to pour every ounce of passion into the elusive goal of perfection that doesn’t reward authenticity. I want to be the editor you turn to when you need someone to respect the writer and the work while enhancing your vision.
